We use native plants as much as possible because they:

  • are adapted to the local climate,

  • require less water and maintenance, and

  • support local ecosystems by providing food and shelter for wildlife and pollinators.

How we started

Our founder discovered native perennial gardening through a Baltimore program called TreeKeepers.

Inspired by the ecological and climate benefits of native plants, she transformed her own small urban yard into a vibrant habitat garden.

Since then, she has designed and installed numerous residential and community projects while continuing to volunteer with the program that sparked her journey.
